Gerald L. Baumann of Caldwell Idaho, died on July 15, 2022. He was born March 27, 1949 to Juanita (Selaya) and Clifford Baumann of Twin Falls, ID. Jerry took a lot of pride in his work as Field Manager with Crookham Seed Company and in his thirty years there never took a sick day. He liked most meeting with farmers and being outdoors. . He used to say, “ if something is worth doing, it is worth doing right.” He applied his motto to his hobbies and challenged himself to learn a new one every year, such as fly tying and making his own fly fishing rods. He loved photographing nature and could name every wildflower and bird at his campsites.
Jerry loved to travel with Dodi. They visited such locations as Argentina, Costa Rica, Iceland and Canada. He was a bike enthusiast all of his life - even crossing the panhandle of Idaho on the Coeur d’Alene trail with Dodi.
Always happy to be around family and friends, Jerry enjoyed big get - togethers and could talk sports with anyone. Jerry loved to golf with his brother Rick and play pinochle with his cousin Larry. He enjoyed reading, music, pheasant hunting and his own Basque culture celebrations. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a loyal friend who will be missed.
