Gabino Quintana, a resident of Porterville, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the age of 100.

Nafarroako Tuteran sortua, aita Tuterakoa eta ama, Pascuala Retegui, Ariakoa zeuzkan. Aita eta hiru oseba Montanara jin eta artzain eta ardinagusi izan ziren. 1951ean Sophie Pelous kaliforniarrarekin esposatu (familia biarnesekoa bera) eta 2016ko ekainean 65 urte bete zituzten esposaturik. Besta polita antolatu zuten iaz otsailaren 28an Chinoko Euskal Etxean bere lagunek Gabinoren 100 urteak ospatzeko, Chinoko Euskal Etxeko kide zaharrena zen.

Sadly, this is to let you know that original Chino Basque Club member Gabino Quintana passed away.

We are very grateful that we were able to celebrate his 100th birthday last year at the Club and our most sincere condolences go out to his wife, Sophie.
