On March 20, Celia Escudero, a Basque-Argentine of Navarrese origin, passed away in Buenos Aires. She was a much-loved, humble, caring, religious person committed to her neighbors and to the people, and also to the Basque Country, a country and culture to which she felt active and deeply close. Traveling to the Basque Country, in her later years, was a great experience that she always remembered with great affection. She was a member of the large family of members of the Euskaltzaleak Basque language school and association of Buenos Aires, where she served for a time as secretary and participated until mobility problems didn´t allow her to attend in recent years.

Born on October 27, 1938, she passed away at the age of 86. She leaves behind family and many friends in mourning
