Carlos Otaño was a truly Basque, with a big commitment with Caracasko Eusko Etxea, the Basque Club in Caracas and the Basque community in Venezuela. He was former president of the Club and always a supporter in many positions, always ready to help and work for the home of the Basques in the Venezuelan capital city. He spent this very last perior of his life in Madrid with his kids and died surrounded by the four of them, Ainoa, Iratxe, Keltze and Igor.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family, friends and to the entire Basque-venezuelan community.
