On Saturday Feb. 8th, 2014 Arturo Gonzalez de Zarate, 82, died in Valencia, State of Carabobo, Venezuela. He was president and founder of the Cumana Basque Club a Basque club that no longer exists. He was born in the Basque Copuntry in Vitoria-Gasteiz in Nov. 16th, 1931 and came to Venezuela in 1953. He was a very active member of the Basque-Venezuelan community.
