Alfredo Simón Aranza passed away in Azul, province of Buenos Aires, at the age of 92.

Born in Azul, Alfredo was one of the founding members of the Gure Txokoa Basque Club in Azul, being elected in different periods member of its Board of Directors. The Basque club has released a statement on social media mourning his loss, highlighting his work and good humor, and his great contribution, and offering condolences to his wife Nelly and his family.
